Q. What are your Check-In and Check-Out times?
A. Check-in is at 3:00 PM EST. & Check-Out is at 10:00 AM EST.

Q. Do I have to bring my own linens?
A. No, we provide you all bed and bath linens. However, we do recommend bringing a beach towel for hot tub use.

Q. What do we need to bring? What is supplied in the rental?
A. Our rentals are furnished with the basics; such as linens, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, silverware and dishes. We also supply you with a starter supply of soaps, trash bags and toilet paper. All you need to bring is your own food, clothes and your own personal toiletries.

Q. How do I make my Reservations? Do you require a deposit?
A. You can either call us toll free at 1-877-429-9604 or book online at To reserve the cabin we require 50% of your rental rate down, and the remaining balance will be charged 15 days prior to your arrival date. Or you may choose to pay in full.

Q. Do you have a minimum night stay?
A. Yes, we require a 2 night stay minimum and up to 4 nights for holidays, peak dates and/or special events.

Q. Is there a minimum age for renting a cabin at Mountain Air Cabin Rentals?
A. Yes, you must be 21 or older to rent 1 & 2 bedroom properties and 25 or older to rent 3 bedrooms or larger.

Q. Do you allow pets in the rentals?
A. Based on the choice of rental owners, pets are allowed ONLY in rentals that state they are “pet friendly” and will be limited to dogs only under 50 lbs. There is a $65.00 non-refundable pet fee for each dog. No more than two (2) dogs per pet friendly rental. If a pet is found in a rental that does not allow pets, there will be a minimum charge of $100.00. You are required to clean up behind your pet, inside and outside (excessive hair and feces). You will be responsible for any damages that may be caused by your pet. If you are leaving your pet(s) unattended in the rental, they must be crated during your absence.

Q. When can we use the fireplace?
A. Fireplaces are available for use starting October 1st until April 1st.

Q. Do we need to clean the rental when we leave?
A. You are expected to clean up after yourselves by picking up anything that cannot be picked up with a vacuum, remove all trash, and put it in the trashcans. Most rentals have dishwashers. We also ask that you wash your dishes and put them away. Turn off all lights and appliances, and set the heat or air conditioner to correct levels.

Q. Do you regularly treat your rentals for pests?
A. Yes, we have a local, professional pest control company that performs regular monthly pest control prevention. But because our rentals are located in wooded areas, we cannot guarantee they will be pest free.

Q. Can we use our GPS to find our rental?
A. In some cases, yes. But PLEASE bring the detailed directions that we will send or give you. We know the roads better than any GPS system, Google Earth or Map Quest!
